Fall 2010 Conference

Come home to Mizzou Nov. 5 & 6 for the Fall 2010 Conference. We’ll kick-off the conference on Friday evening with networking activities and the opening banquet. On Saturday, the conference will begin at 8:30 and run through late afternoon. You’ll enjoy a programs on a variety of topics and plenty of time to network.

Spring 2010 Conference

You won’t want to miss the spring conference set for April 9 & 10 in Columbia. We’ll kick-off the conference on Friday evening with the spring banquet. The evening will feature a presentation on women’s networks during Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath by Dr. Jackie Litt, Chair of the MU Department of Women’s & Gender Studies. We will also celebrate a remarkable woman with the presentation of the Spirit of Martha Award.

On Saturday, the conference will begin at 8:30 and run through late afternoon. You’ll enjoy a programs on a variety of topics and plenty of time to network. At lunch, former Proctor & Gamble Vice President Barb Hartman will share her expert advice on developing, managing and growing extraordinary business relationships. We’ll close the conference with an afternoon reception in the Great Room.

Attention Students! The Griffiths Leadership Society is seeking women students with a variety of career interests to participate in the organization. The ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, outstanding scholarship, a positive attitude and a sincere interest in personal and professional growth. Through participation, student members are sure to gain increased insight into the unique issues that women face in the workplace and personal life as well as develop friendships with women who can help them find or maintain the path to success.
