Fall Conference Registration Now Available
Come home Oct. 28-29 for the Griffiths Leadership Society Fall Conference. The programming committee has been working for months on a fantastic agenda including keynote presentations by Liz Forkin Bohannon, BJ ‘07, MA ’09, founder and owner of Sseko Designs, and Martha Ackmann, author of Curveball: The Remarkable Story of Toni Stone and The Mercury 13: The True Story of Thirteen Women and the Dream of Space Flight.
The conference will begin at 4 pm on Friday, Oct. 28 and conclude by 4 pm on Saturday, Oct. 29. The conference will take place in the Reynolds Alumni Center on the MU campus. Click here to register for the fall conference.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Stoney Creek Inn located at 2601 South Providence Road. The rate is $136/n plus tax. To reserve a room call 573-442-6400 and ask for a room in the Griffiths Leadership block. The block expires Sept. 28.
Mentoring is an important component of membership. Each year, students and alumnae are paired together in a formal mentoring relationship. Members will receive information on their mentor or mentee at least two weeks in advance of the conference.
