Griffiths Members Selected for Homecoming Royalty
Three student members of the Griffiths Leadership Society for Women were honored by being selected for Homecoming Top Ten Royalty. Seniors Kristen Buri, Traci Harr and Emily Roxberg were nominated and endured two rounds of interviews before being selected for Top Ten.
Kristen is from Parkville and was nominated by the Alumni Association Student Board. She is the daughter of Jim and Karen Buri and will graduate in May with a degree in business marketing.
Traci is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies with emphasis in political science and non-profit management. Traci is originally from Maryville and is the daughter of Patrick and Teri Harr. She was sponsored by the women of Kappa Alpha Theta.
Emily, a strategic communication major, is the daughter of Steve and Linda Roxberg. Emily is from Overland Park, Kansas, and was nominated by Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
Kristen was crowned during half-time of the Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 25. Anne Case-Halferty, a senior member of Griffiths and 2007 Homecoming Queen, crowned Kristen in front of a sell-out crowd at Faurot Field.
