Members Honored with Mizzou ‘39
Each February, the Mizzou Alumni Association celebrates the founding of the University of Missouri. In the spirit of service modeled by the founding families, the Alumni Association Student Board is pleased to recognize the 2010 class of Mizzou ‘39 recipients.
Congratulations to collegian members Laura Eisenbeis, Janie Gibson, Christine Mathews, Paige Nilson and Taylor Rausch. These women were selected based on their academic achievement, leadership and service to Mizzou and the community.
As part of the award program, Mizzou ‘39 recipients select a faculty or staff mentor who has inspired them during their time at Mizzou. Alumna member Vicky Riback Wilson was honored as a mentor and is one of six individuals who have been honored as mentors for three or more years.
The new class of recipients was publicly revealed on Feb. 21 at a special ceremony in Jesse Hall and honored at a banquet on Feb. 26.
Mizzou ‘39 is a program of the Mizzou Alumni Association and Student Board and was established in 2005.
