Mentor-Mentee Spotlight:
On Aug. 24, Michelle Gibler invited her Griffiths mentee Emily Spradling to attend a special luncheon for female leaders as part of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge, a traveling symposium for women leaders throughout the state. Emily had the opportunity to meet U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill as well as her State Representative from her home district in Webster Groves.
Michelle is director of ThinkFirst Missouri and the Injury Prevention Division of MU’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has a PhD in Health Education and Promotion from MU. 
Emily is a second-year medical student at Mizzou.
